Far and Wide is a boutique in Kamloops, British Columbia, but we strive to be so much more than that.
The Start Of Something New
Far and Wide specializes in stocking our shelves and tables with all the items to make the perfect gift for anyone in your life – including yourself. In addition to stocking women-owned, BIPOC goods, LGBTQS2+ makers, extended clothing sizes, and so much more, we also try to provide our customers with more than just items to buy.
To bring more value to our incredible customers, we have created something that we think is rather special. Small Talk is our seasonal digital magazine with each edition full of new product launches, recipes, playlists, activities, tips, and a whole lot more.
How It Began
The magazine started in the winter of 2022 with our first Holiday Lookbook that explored our favourite seasonal songs and movies, fun holiday items, and recipe and decorating tips.
A month later, we released our second magazine, the Holiday Gift Guide, with a focus on items that make the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Anyone lucky enough to have flipped through the Sears Catalogue hopefully enjoys this edition!
These winter editions had such a positive response from our community that we decided to make it a seasonal magazine which now has spring, summer, and fall issues in addition to the two Christmas ones.
Our Latest Issue
Our most recent issue is our Small Talk Spring 2024 edition. The inspiration was heavily influenced by the upcoming season 3 release of the Bridgerton series on Netflix – so we recommend that you browse this magazine before watching to get in the mood!
