This 3L bag of Coarse perlite is an excellent garden material to have around; it is primarily used to aerate soils and even grow plants directly on it. This material is excellent for rooting cuttings of plants avoiding root rot.
How to use:
To amend soils: Add 1/2 cup of perlite for every 2 cups of dense soil or as needed, this will help the soil has better airflow and complexion, reducing the risks of root rot.
To root cuttings: Pour 1 to 2 cups of perlite (depending on how many cuttings you have) into a shallow container and add 1/2 cup of water, stick the cuttings, and let it grow.
Other usages: Add a layer at the bottom of planters to reduce the risk of root rot, especially if your planter doesn’t have a drainage hole.
